Minions are the stars of the movie that was released on July 10th, 2015. This movie is about a bumbling trio of flea-like creatures who start off as an experiment in a secret laboratory but accidentally cause havoc in New York City. The three lab scientists, Kevin, Stuart and Bob chase after Dave, who runs away from them at first but later becomes their best friend. They have to do everything for him like one after another like take out trash or clean up sugar that he has spilled on the ground because these 3 small funny yellow creatures are afraid that they'll get into trouble if they don't act like adults.The protagonist is Dave. He is an inventor who was kicked out of the evil scientist’s (El Macho) organization (called the League of Evil), because he has failed in his mission to steal the moon. Then he rescues Kevin, Stuart, and Bob from the Racoons who plan to eat them up, and they become his friends after Kevin hypnotizes him with yoga. The Minions are clueless but always happy for anything (even when they die in horrible ways). They don't talk in English; instead, they speak Minionese. Despicable Me 2 is about them trying to find a new master so that they can live happily ever after which leads them from being henchmen to being superheroes. The movie became a huge success. It was the second highest-grossing film of 2015, behind only "" and was also the ninth highest-grossing film of all time, as well as the highest-grossing animated film of all time in both North America and worldwide.
